Project Description:

DGRC Logo The dipteran insect Drosophila (fruit fly) is arguably the best genetically understood metazoan model system and has mature genome sequences and annotations. By consequence, its research community is immense. The Drosophila Genomics Resource Center (DGRC) serves the Drosophila research community by collecting and distributing DNA clones, by collecting and distributing cell lines, by manufacturing and distributing microarrays, by assisting scientists to use these materials and by developing and testing emerging genomics technologies.
